Your Dog Might Love Your Spouse More

Curious thought

This funny video shows just what happens when we put a dog’s loyalty to the test. They pitted husband against wife, father against son, mother against daughter, and roommate against roommate in this one. Everyone gave their predictions, and it turns out that the dogs picked son over father and husband over wife. So far just pretty expected results.

We get to the mother-daugher battle, and again, the favored mother wins. The dogs basically just follow mom wherever she goes. Finally, we get to the roommates, and actually, surprisingly, the dogs pick neither one. They just get tired of the boring game and eventually walk off without any regard for their owners.

This little experiment obviously didn’t take anything away from the owners’ relationships with each other though (haha at least that’s what they want us to believe.)

What Your Dog Thinks During the Day

Ever wondered what your dog thinks throughout the long day?

Well, its seems that he/she might have more to say than you thought. Maybe it hates huge trucks that block its view of nature, or even enjoys direct eye contact when it poops! Whatever the case, we all know that some free time at the park to run out in the open is always a joy for your pup. It’s probably secretly helping you pick up people from the opposite gender as well, as petting a cute person’s dog is always a good conversation starter.

What Your Dog Thinks

Your dog just wants you to thank him/her later though. Just be grateful you didn’t need to pull out your cheesy pickup lines. Also, if your dog is the outgoing type, it may be communicating with other dogs as well, trying to make new (if not ephemeral) “acquaintances” left and right. But it might just be telling you to stay a little longer, and even get to know the owner better so it can go on a future playdate. These are just some of the things your dog wants to tell you, and if it could talk you would have a lot on your hands.

Cheetah and Dog: Best of Friends?

Wow, that’s just a truly one-of-a-kind friendship.

A male cheetah cub and a female yellow lab, who were put together when the cheetah was 8 weeks old and the dog 16 weeks old, celebrated their first anniversary together at Busch Gardens in Tampa, Florida. The pair, later named Kasi and Mtani, immediately struck up a bond that would last a lifetime. Even though the anniversary was a while back, it is now a couple years later and their friendship is still going strong, according to Busch Gardens who provides updates on the pair.

Now a lot of people might be skeptical, but actually the two animals have very similar social characteristics. Their personalities directly complement each other, and they always spend long hours just playing and hanging out together. Since their first encounter, they’ve earned somewhat of a celebrity status, if that exists for animals.

Well, at least the cheetah is better than those common, nasty house cats, right?

7 Words: Before and After Dog Ownership

7 main words that mean different things after you have your first dog (or dogs)

This article depicts the seven main words that mean different things after you have your first dog (or dogs). Before, a doorbell means someone is at the door. Afterwards, it basically acts as a fire alarm since your dogs freak out over it. Dishes used to be the cleaning up and washing process after a meal, but now your dog unexpectedly “helps out” by licking the extras off the plate.

7 Words Before and After

Another funny one is your alarm clock. It used to wake you up by buzzing and beeping annoyingly until you pressed the plastic snooze button that never works, but now it’s continuous licking (and the snooze button becomes spoken word, which is even more tedious). Finally, the sweetest one in the video is word “free time.” It used to mean literal time off from anything work-related and pursuing solo activities for your personal pure enjoyment, but now it means that you can hang out with your favorite animal in the world.

The rest of the words also ring true, and they may be super-ultra-mega-relatable to you, too!

Dogs Can Drive Too!!

If you could teach your dog to drive

I don’t know if you have the right equipment and resources to do it, but it would be pretty cool (and maybe illegal) if you could teach your dog to drive. Actually, an organization called SPCA did that very thing. It’s a shelter for abandoned dogs and it really loves and cares for its pups. So much that it gives 3 very special dogs a shot at driving a mini. They did some pre-training, then it’s off to a private, closed off track just for them.

The car is self-moving though, since the dog can’t really step on the brakes or the gas. What’s amazing though is that at the curve of the road the featured dog, Porter, actually turns the steering wheel! It’s really awesome how it can listen to a person’s commands to turn the wheel and at the same time observe the curve of the track. At the end the car ends up halfway into the grass, but we’ll give Porter a good grade overall, won’t we?

Freerunning Dog

Wow. Just wow. Like owner, like dog.

This amazing and super cool 4-minute clip shows a bunch of gravity-defying stunts and parkour tricks done by a parkour professional alongside his athletic dog. They completely clear trash cans, tree branches, and even large rocks together. They can bounce off tree trunks and land softly like it’s nothing. The dog even does walking handstands with ease, something even most grown men and women can’t do.

But the craziest part is the backflip. He pulls it off impeccably and lands without slipping or shifting from the initial position. The dog definitely has powerful muscles in both its front and back legs, and has incredible balance and coordination to go along with it. But all this of course cannot come without dedication and hardwork.

That’s a smart dog right there. Wish you had a dog like that?

World’s Tiniest Dog

A day in the life of the world’s official tiniest dog

This record might have been unknowingly changed since this is from back in 2013, but the most recent update was this one, so we can be assured that this dog is either still first place or at least top three. This video depicts a day in the life of the world’s official tiniest dog. Milly, a female chihuahua fully grown and measuring in at around 9.65 cm, has a pretty normal life, but has a very special appearance.

World’s Tiniest Dog_B

She fits perfectly in the palm of her owner’s hand, and has to run to keep up with a slow human walk! She also has to look up to some of the bigger stuffed animals and can practically fit in her water bowl. That would be so cool to have a chihuahua that size; chihuahuas are already known for their small stature, but this one takes it to a whole other level! The Best Birthday Present Ever

Maymo the dog is back with another video, and this time she’s loving her grand bday present!

On the very special day, her ever-kind owners decided to make a DIY ball pit for her. It looks actually pretty cool. The beginning of the clip shows Maymo progressively going from tired and lazy to slightly amused to full on interested. The owners move the couches and carpet into a pit formation and then slowly pour the balls in.

Maymo looks super excited and perks up, and soon enough she takes the plunge! She can’t help but to get out of the pit, only to jump back in in a moment’s notice like a diver into a pool. The end shows her just enjoying her time in the ball pit and blissfully laying on her side.

So next time it’s your dog’s birthday, you know at least one good present to give!
