Ever taken one look at dog food and said, “Hmm…using all my willpower I swear I will never try it because it just seems wayyyy too disgusting?”

This funny buzzfeed video puts this theory to test, and honestly if you ever had that thought you’re not too far off. Before the tastings begin, some of the experimenters share their thoughts. One guy hilariously facepalms and says, “This is the worst decision…”, while another is just stuck complaining.

The dogs sure seem interested though, and the four humans try the first can of dog food. The three dudes just think it shouldn’t be eaten, but the girl thinks it’s actually pretty good! Moving on to the next bag of dog food, the results are just terrible. All of them hate it and think it should be considered garbage. I don’t suggest you try the experiment yourself, though. If you do, just be prepared to puke in the sink.

 

This video has just an amazing wealth of doggie talent.

It’s a clip of a dog agility competition from a few years ago in Del Mar, California, and it has racked up over a quarter of a million views. The annual competition has the dogs run through an obstacle course, sort of like an American Ninja Warrior of the dog agility world, in the intense heat as fast as they can.

They rarely ever falter and always come out with lightning speed. Australian Shepherds, Border Collies, Cocker Spaniels…you name it, they’re in the contest. It may look easy on video, but in real life this course is tough! Imagine all the careful balance it would take going down the A-frame so quickly, and the athleticism required to jump over so many hurdles. Must have been hard for the judges to pick a clear-cut winner.

This video shows some things done by dogs that would be weird if humans did them.

For example, sniffing another person’s butt in greeting would probably be very creepy, if not jail­worthy. Numero dos would be licking another person’s ear, also in attempted greeting. That would just be very unsanitary. Next we have kicking a basketball with our feet and yapping

“Hey, Hey, Hey” at everybody who walks by. Neither are very pleasant. But perhaps the best one would be looking extremely guilty and looking at our feet when we know we did something wrong. This is actually something that surprisingly a lot of people do, so it’s not really a “weird thing.” Finally we have begging for another person’s lunch and then eventually eating it face­first, even when the person says no.

That would for sure be the most irritating of all, even though it would look hilarious.

Ever wonder what happens when you train a cat and a dog equally for a set number of same tricks?

This cool video will show all! Nana the Border Collie is back with yet another great clip of tricks, this time bringing newcomer and best buddy, Kaiser the Bengal Cat (ok hardcore cat-haters now’s not the time). But does Kaiser have enough tricks up its sleeve to one-up Nana? The first trick is begging/sitting pretty. Kaiser wins that one, hands down.

But in the second and third, which are spinning and rolling, respectively, Nana obviously gains the upper hand. Kaiser evens up the match on the fourth trick, with a smooth, albeit slow, cruise on a skateboard. The rest are kind of just solely based on opinion (well technically all of these are). Not sure if I’m telling the truth?

“Who needs a doggy door?”

That’s the biggest line in the entire video, and it perfectly describes how smart Luke the dog is. Basically the clip first shows the owner, who by the way has many more awesome dog life hacks on his channel, walking out the back door of his house to the backyard. The big puppy is confused for a second, then after pausing to think about it leaps out on its hind legs, balances steadily, and calmly opens the door with one foot. Too smart and too big for a doggy door, to sum it up.

He gets in and out fine, but as soon as his master tells him to close it he just gives up.

Well, dogs can’t understand every single English word right off the bat, right?

Who would have ever guessed that a dog and a racoon would have so much fun hanging out together?

In this video we see the two buddies just chilling and messing around with each other. It seems like they’re old friends, as the coon appears to be hugging the dog in the first few seconds of the clip. They also seem to enjoy each other’s company a lot, as they wrestle for fun like two brothers would.

Usually, as we all know, most dogs would try to hunt down the racoons and chase them away from the house and protect their territory, but it’s certainly not the case here. They are completely at ease with each other, and it’s a very special and intimate moment that the owners luckily caught on camera.

Wait, hold up, say what now?! A dog can play volleyball and basketball? How cool is that!

This clip shows us a dog that probably has better ball skills then most of us. Of course, being a dog he would naturally have to have the basketball lobbed to him and then nudge it with his nose up towards the basket, but still it’s such an impeccable form. He drains so many tough shots!

Imagine being at his height and shooting with your face.
We would probably break our noses on the first try, right? But anyways, definitely one cool dog, and who knows? Maybe you can train your dog to make it splash in no time! For now, for all you couch potatoes out there, at least get as good as this smart canine.

What would happen if you left a German Shepherd at home alone with a GoPro strapped to its back? Shoe chewing, sofa dismantling, and general mayhem may ensue and be caught on camera, right? Another episode of Paranormal Dogtivity?

Wrong, in this case.
You might think all of this would happen and you would come back home finding your house in a shocking fashion, but actually nothing significant really takes place. This is proved when a dog owner decides to try the experiment while going out to dinner one night.

In the video, even when sped up 80 to 160 times, no outstanding activity takes place besides the German Shepherd going from the door to the window whining. I love how it would stay in one place for the longest time then randomly walk calmly away though. Which leaves us with one question: who, or what, rather, has been destroying your sneakers the whole time??! #ParanormalDogtivity

This might just be the next Mozart or Beethoven.

Caught on video is a rescue dog who is an absolute virtuoso when it comes to playing the piano. The clip shows a dog climb up onto a piano upon its master’s permission. It then easily turns it on, and boom! wonderful music starts playing. The dog is so obsessed with flawlessness that it covers its face in shame every time a mistake is made. Ugh, those perfectionist pianists.

How can they ever accept mistakes in life?
The show goes on, though, as a true professional allows it to. After clanging a few more emphatic notes, including another minor mistake, the dog finishes off its performance with a beautiful, humble bow. Simple, yet elegant. This dog is destined to be super rich and famous one day. What style and bravado!

Yet another AWWWWWW moment.

In this video a cute, sleepy puppy falls asleep next to an equally cute baby. In the beginning of the clip the puppy looks up to the camera with big, wide-open eyes, like it were saying: oh, how adorable! I have finally met my match, and I need to up my game a little.

It then starts looking tired too (though by coincidence or on purpose I’m not sure, I think it was the latter) and lies down beside the baby. After some tempting from its master it finally gives in and puts its head on the baby’s little one. It takes some time, but eventually it does fall asleep and perfect, golden silence ensues.

Shhh, don’t disturb the flawless unison we just witnessed here. Just capture the perfect moment in your head to keep forever.
