Dog vs Robots

Wait, I think for dogs the equivalent of a zombie apocalypse would be a toy robot apocalypse.

Not quite clear on that one. But apparently in this video a cute dog named Maymo saves the day against all odds when fighting against noisy and raucous evil robots. At first, surprise seems to get the best of Maymo, as he is caught of guard and jumps back in fright and shock.

But later on as Maymo realizes his inner strength and courage, he quickly tags back into the battle and fights the robots, sending them flying and sprawling in all directions.

He even picks up the loud whirring toy car and sends it speeding along its way, and chases several robots around bravely and relentlessly. No fear and no regret is shown when Maymo finally looks into the camera during the last scene, and this is definitely proof of a dog’s insurmountable courage.

“Big Mouth Mishka”

This hilarious video shows that spending too much time with someone leads to mimicking certain traits, even for dogs.

This dog, Mishka, is taught by its owner to speak TWELVE different English words, including the words Obama, hello, I love you, happy and thank you. What a talent! Let’s just hope that she doesn’t go be a snitch later on. I’m sure that pretty soon Mishka will learn to speak even bigger and longer sentences instead of just short words and phrases.

Big Mouth Mishka

Sometimes Mishka doesn’t even let her master finish his sentence.
He would start, “I love…” and she would just barge in with her own, “I Wuv Youuuuu!” The funniest part comes when the owner asks, “Are you stupid?” and Mishka answers clearly with a long, emphatic “No!” Everyone bursts out laughing as Mishka walks away pompously down the hall. The Best Way to Exercise your Dogs

An outdoors dog treadmill? Man that’s creative! This man (an apparent dog fanatic) owns ten dog treadmills, and uses them to exercise his dogs daily. They are obviously all non-motorized (it would be kind of bad if they were since dogs can’t push buttons to control the speed), so the dogs choose the kind of pace they want to run at, since every dog has its own fitness level.

The Best Way to Exercise your Dogs

The faster they run, the faster the treadmill moves.

This certainly appears to build stamina and endurance, as well as a deep appreciation for nature! The whole system is just filled to the brim with so much renewable energy – sometimes I wish he would use it to power his house or something to get something out of it. According to the video description this isn’t the only way his dogs get exercise, as he walks them and takes them on swims daily.

Border Collie jumps truck??

Talk about amazing! Nana the Border Collie is simply too smart.

She can walk or run backwards, run through its owner’s moving legs, or even hop up into the back of a truck in one leap! She has impeccable obedience skills and, in one part of the video, even helps its master take off his socks! Nana can walk perfectly fine on two legs, and would be great if in assisting the elderly, as she can act as a guide and even do little things like bringing a box of tissue or untying shoelaces.

She also has tremendous athletic ability, as she can do walking handstands and bound over a park bench with ease. I have no idea how she can follow and memorize so many different movement patterns, or have such fast reflexes like when she changes direction in a split second after a simple hand signal. I wish I had a dog like that!

How to Lose an Argument

A general rule for all you dog owners out there: never allow your dog to argue with a baby – it will lose.

In this lively clip we see two of the cutest creations, a dog and a toddler, quarrel over something. Actually I have to admit it was more of a one-sided affair. Ever since the beginning of the baby’s nonsensical rant the dog just had an exasperated look on its face, like what should I do, this kid is driving me nuts!

How to Lose an Argument

Mom, help me out right here! The baby certainly has some good points though. Maybe in the future she could become a top-notch lawyer or something. But for now I think she’ll stick to annoying the ticks out of the bulldog (which would be good, if it really did have ticks, because then it wouldn’t have to get expensive treatment).

A Week in the Life of Wolfie

A Week in the Life of Wolfie

This 6-minute video details a cute husky puppy’s (Wolfie’s) first week at its owner’s house.

He likes to bite everything, from soda bottles to bags to wooden clips. The funniest part of the video is when Wolfie plays with the little suspended doll. It tries to get it within its jaws but the brave attempt is unsuccessful, so Wolfie just gives up, lets out a little unsatisfied groan, and smacks it.

A Week in the Life of Wolfie2

Fast forward to playing Wolfie. Another funny part is when Wolfie is taken outside and finds out that he isn’t the only dog in the house.

He experiences emotions from disbelief to jealousy, as he immediately runs after the other dog and snaps at it. Poor Wolfie. I think he’ll eventually learn that the world doesn’t revolve around him, as kids do all the time. Throughout the week Wolfie has already grown, and to see more of these cute clips click onto @Joe E ‘s channel to discover more.

Dog Shocks Crowd at BGT

For me, this is one of the only times I’ve witnessed a dog being on a nationally televised audition and not falter or get nervous.

This video shows Marc Metral, the owner, have a brief conversation with his dog Wendy (yes, in English, although Wendy seems to have mixed the languages up a bit). The act opens with Wendy confusing “hi” in English for other languages, and meowing.

Dog Shocks Crowd at BGT

This amazes the audience, as Wendy’s mouth matches her words at exactly the same time. I still don’t know to this day if the man was a ventriloquist of some sort or if the dog actually was talking. Then Wendy and Marc sing a duet (rather, Wendy was somewhat forced into it) and the audience cannot contain its laughter. At the end of the video the crowd roars its approval, and the judges agree, especially Simon Cowell.

Simon has supposedly been waiting for nine years for a dog that could either meow or sing to be on the show, and he got both that night.

Cute Puppy Vs Doorstop

Random fact of the day: puppies, including this one, love playing with bouncy doorstops.

Maybe because they’re young and full of beans while the older dogs think it’s too time and energy-consuming. In this two minute video we witness the most adorable, cuddly puppy in the history of mankind play with (or seemingly attempt to destroy) a doorstop.

Cute Puppy Vs Doorstop

Yup, just two minutes of nonstop, epic cuteness.

Seems like the doorstop is declared victorious at the end, but boy did that puppy try hard! It looks like it did everything, from pulling it to gnawing on it to rolling over and begging it to come off. Maybe after the video it finally realized that it wouldn’t come off and gave the owner the all-knowing I knew that! look that dogs do all the time. Now excuse us as we buy a doorstop toy at God-knows-where.

Ew, who likes baths?

Wow, dogs really hate baths.

Talking Animals presents: Oakley the Wet Dog! Seems like Oakley had just gotten out of the shower. He’s soaking wet and steaming with fury at his master. The owner tries to rationalize and says that the reason for it was because he stunk, but the dog doesn’t care. He tries to talk trash to his master and at one point even says,

Ew who likes baths

“You’re not so big, I can take you!”

He just can’t believe that he would be forced to take a bath! He still thinks that he was given a bath for no apparent reason. Oakley is indignant and tries to dry himself off with the closest water absorbing material possible – the carpet. I think the owner just wants to enable the dog to let off some steam.

Sometimes, dogs just need someone to talk to.
