Your Dog Wants to Say: Come Home Right Now

Your Dog Wants to Say: Come Home Right Now

This funny video shows all sorts of texts your dog would send you if he did, in fact, have a phone and the ability to send text messages. In one of the first ones the dog asks, “What’s for dinner?” and when the owner responds with, “Dog food,” he shoots back a very teenage-esque, “Yassssssss!!!” Your dog would probably not only do something as funny and redundant as that, but also send tons of emojis and stickers (and probably waste all your data). *Or even toss your life saving down the drain.

Maybe he would at least send you pics when he trashes your trash can (haha) so that you get a heads up before coming home at last. Let’s just hope, though, that we don’t stumble upon a demeaning or derogatory comment about us that he accidentally sends to our phones instead of his other canine buddies.

Fishing With a Buddy

A man goes fishing with his best friend – his dog

In this beautiful GoPro promo video, a man goes fishing with his best friend – his dog. The pup is dressed in the full outfit, with vest on and hat in place. They set out onto the pretty lake and just enjoy each other’s company while waiting for some fish to bite on the line. Eventually, they get one, and the dog looks curiously at it.

He seems extremely excited, as his tail wags quickly from side to side. It’s the perfect day – beautiful weather, picture-perfect scenery, and a successful fishing trip. Good thing it was only sport fishing though; the dog might have been a little too interested! But anyways, this is nevertheless an awesome, short clip to watch, and brings to light another reason why life is definitely beautiful as well. This is exactly how all commercials should be: simple, sweet, and meaningful.

Subaru Cars are Dog-Approved

Even if this video was released a couple of years back, it still gives a lot of laughs and is short and sweet.

This thirty-second Subaru commercial shows a group of dogs driving to a sunny beach. They get out and do all the stuff regular people do, including building sandcastles, surfing, getting a tan, and basically just chilling out in the waves.

They even pull out the drinks cooler! Let’s just hope they’re old enough to drink alcoholic beverages. After they wrap up their adventure without their human counterparts, they dry off, hop back into the car, and drive away. Guys, I’m pretty sure we’re all smart enough to not let our dogs drive off to the beach by themselves, so don’t try this at home. Plus, we would miss out on all the fun.

The Perfect Puppy Food Commercial

This is exactly how a lot of other commercials should be, all thought-provoking yet cute at the same time.

In this Puppyhood.com video posted on BuzzFeed we basically watch the story of a man getting acquainted with his adorable Spaniel puppy. On one random day he passes a store getting ready for pet adoptions, and he decides to take one of the dogs home.

Perfect Puppy Food Commercial

They start out awkwardly sitting on the couch, but the puppy quickly decides he’s safe to be around and innocently nudges him. They then just chill in the house, and the guy decides to show the dog his “soccer moves” and ends up slipping on the wood floor, much to the puppy’s confusion. They also play the piano and the Spaniel plays a beautiful interval on the keys. The patient dog seems to love music, as it listens to all of the owner’s singing and guitar playing.

They start getting more comfortable with each other, but then in the middle of the night the puppy wrecks his fragile project. The master has to spend the rest of the night re-building it, and they finally have breakfast. They lie down together side by side, with the man eating cereal and the dog having some of the Dog Chow from Puppyhood.

Be(er) Responsible and Get Home Safely to Your Dog

This Budweiser clip wants to remind us of the cons of drinking and driving, and how we all have friends and family waiting back at home for us to return.

In the video, the owner of a dog leaves for a night out with his buddies, and brings beer along with him. The dog waits and waits patiently for his return. It stays up late into the night and eventually falls asleep.

Finally the next morning the owner comes home, and explains that he had to stay the night away from home since he wanted to be extra careful he wouldn’t get into an accident. For some, the waiting never ended, but luckily in this vid the owner was wise enough to decide that delaying a drive home was better than potentially harming himself.

Budweiser always manages to come up with some heartfelt clips, and this is definitely one of them. So for all of you partiers out there, be sure to remember that drinking and driving is never a good option.

True Friends for Life

A dog is truly a man’s best friend.

This IAMS commercial shows the story of a boy and his buddy, his dog “Duck.” It first shows his younger days, when he runs off to school as a little boy with Duck trailing behind. He really loves his dog and spends countless hours reading to him, talking to him, and playing with him. The dog returns the favor and appears to him during a baseball game when he is down about something, and cheers him up.

Then it fast forwards to his prom, where Duck interrupts his date night by climbing into the car recklessly. The next scene has a girl ask the boy about the origins of the name, and it is revealed that while he was little he misheard the name “Duke” for “Duck,” thus giving his puppy friend that name. It then flashes back on all the good moments spent with the dog, and ends on a positive note with the message “Good for Life” on the screen.

Try not to get emotional and/or cry. But yes, the box of tissues is on your left in case you need it.
